Dr. Navneet Kaur, Pinjore, Panchkula, Haryana. I have strong interpersonal skills and I am self self-starter. I like to seek new challenges and try to think of creative solutions for a given problem. I have the ability to absorb information quickly.

How was your experience in the Neuroscience Research Lab? How did it contribute to your academic or professional development?

In the Neuroscience Research Lab, I had a great experience. As a physical education student and a sports person, I have learned so many constructive skills and lab techniques. I never think of it that I could learn those scientific techniques even coming from the sports field. Eventually, my mentor and labmates in the Neuroscience Research Lab always motivated and guided me at every step where I needed their help and support.
I learned how to work individually and as well as in teams. I learned the skill of scientific writing. The learnings from Neuroscience Research Lab help me in publishing my research in reputed journals and me to secure faculty position in the renowned institution/University.

Yoga, Sports, Physical Activity, Molecular, Diabetes, Neuropsychology.

What was your PhD thesis in or research work? Timeline?

My PhD research is the first to attempt to explore the impact of the Diabetic Yoga Protocol on the molecular mechanism of pre-diabetic individuals. I completed my PhD within five years.
