How would you explain your research in 3 sentences to someone who is not in science ?
I’m researching the differences between early-onset and late-onset Alzheimer’s disease , with a focus on how each affects mood, behaviour, and mental health. My goal is to better understand how these two forms of the disease impacts patient’s emotions and behaviour differently.
More about you ?
I am a passionate Science enthusiast with a deep interest in neuroscience and it’s ever- evolving discoveries. With a relentless curiosity I love to explore new protocols and refine experimental approaches. My journey for the deep quest in science began as a trainee in CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad, where I had gained hands-on experience in research techniques. Building on this foundation I went on to work as a Project Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Biochemistry at PGIMER, Chandigarh. After working for over a year I decided to pursue PhD so that I can make meaningful contributions to the scientific community. When not doing Science, I love to experiment with new food recipes, dance my heart out aloud and finding joy in exploring shopping as a therapeutic escape.
About your work
My PhD research is primarily focused on a comparative analysis between Early-Onset Alzheimer & Disease (EOAD) and Late-Onset Alzheimer's Disease (LOAD), with emphasis on the neuropsychiatric and the involvement of the elements of Yoga.
