How was your experience in Neuroscience Research Lab, how did it contribute to your academic or professional development?

I had the privilege of being the first PhD student in the Neurology Research Lab, an experience that presented unique challenges and opportunities for growth—not just in academia, but also in the pharmaceutical industry and my professional life. The transferable skills I developed, such as collaboration, perseverance, resilience under pressure, and delivering successful outcomes, have laid a strong foundation for my career. I am deeply grateful to the NRL, especially Dr. Akshay Anand, for bringing out the best in his students by challenging them to recognize their potential in academia.
