Dr. Vijay Lakshmi Sharma has a Ph.D degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh and presently she is working as a Professor, in Department of Zoology in Panjab University. She has rich teaching and Research experience of about 30 years and her chief area of specialization are Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics. Dr. Sharma is also Editor- in- chief of Panjab University Research Journal (Science). She has been actively involved in various programmes of Institute and  was Coordinator for O-CET exam in 2009 and 2011 and for CET exam for 2012 and 2013.
