The main area of specialization of Dr. Richa Shri is  Pharmacognosy and natural products . She has technical proficiency in evaluation of plants with neuroprotective effect, anti diabetic and antianxiety activity. Currently she is working on validation of traditional remedies for various diseases and standardization of bioactive plants. Her Paper entitled ‘Neuroprotective effect of extracts of Ocimum basilicum on ischemia and reperfusion-induced cerebral injury’ was selected in top ten in International Herbal Conference- 2009, Bangalore, 26-28th February, 2009.
